WATCH: Troy Parrott scores Panenka

Troy Parrott has scored an audacious Panenka for the Republic of Ireland u19s.

The Spurs teenager scored from the penalty spot on his first competitive appearance at u19 level, as the Boys in Green beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 3-1 in Longford.

Will Ferry gave Ireland the lead in the second half, and Parrott doubled the home side’s advantage from 12 yards.

Adam Idah added a third in the 74th minute, before the visitors scored a consolation goal four minutes later through substitute Mateo Bozic.

Parrott showed remarkable composure given his youth, and the 16-year-old is one of the most exciting talents Ireland has produced in some time.
