USIT are hiring soccer coaches to work and travel in the US for summer 2017

Soccer coaches don’t need to be students, just have an interest in sport, working with kids and want to do something different with their summer. On USIT’s Soccer USA programme, you’ll spend between 6-12 weeks working as a coach on soccer camps throughout the US. During your coaching contract meals, accommodation and travel are covered. And after your contract ends you will have 30 days to travel in the US as you wish.

The Camps are located throughout the East & West Coast of USA and vary from those that are in close proximity to major cities to those that are in more rural locations. Soccer camp runs for five days and soccer coaches will work an average of 30 hours per week which consists of three hours of coaching each morning and three hours in the afternoon or evening.

The coaches will work with a specific club/YMCA/ Parks and Recreation department or High School for each week of the summer. At the end of each week the coach/group of coaches will then travel to their next location which is a great way to see some hidden gems in North America.

Accommodation will be provided with local host families for each week of the summer and usually families will have one child attending the camp. The host family will also provide you with meals during your stay. You will receive details each week from your local Soccer Camp director with regards to your next location.

Transportation whilst in the USA is provided in the form of rental cars and you will travel with other coaches every Sunday to your next Camp location.

How to get hired?

Soccer assessment days will be held nationwide in November. The sessions usually take a couple of hours depending on the size of the group. Each coach has a short interview and shows off some drills.
