Seamus Coleman returns to Everton training

Seamus Coleman has returned to training at Everton following his horrific leg break last March.

The Republic of Ireland captain required surgery on a double leg break following a horrendous tackle from Neil Taylor in a 0-0 draw at the Aviva, but is now nearing a first-team return.

“Seamus Coleman is due back,” Sam Allardyce confirmed.

“He has started training.”

The Toffees endured a difficult start to the season, which saw Ronald Koeman lose his job at Goodison Park.

The Merseyside club have improved dramatically under Sam Allardyce, who will be eager to welcome Coleman back into the side.
