Everton beat Middlesborough 3-1 at Goodison Park this evening, and Seamus Coleman scored his side’s second in style.
A Martin Skeletenburg own goal gave the visitors the lead, but Gareth Barry grabbed an equaliser on his 600th Premier League appearance.
Then, after 42 minutes, Coleman cut in from the flank and found the bottom corner with an excellent left footed finish. Here’s the best of the online reaction to the goal, which you can watch below.

Romelu Lukaku added another just before the break to seal the victory for Everton, who are now second in the table.
Superb move and finish from Seamus Coleman. 2-1 Everton. Koeman hard to please but he loved that.

Coleman struggled for form at club level last season, but has made an impressive start to the 2016/17 season.
GOAL! Lovely from Séamus Coleman. Just lovely. Lovely stuff. He’ll not score a better goal again. Lovely.

There’s the Seamus Coleman of 2 season ago. Brilliant goal, a forward’s poise to go around one challenge before finishing.

Coleman was impressive throughout, and linked well with Yannick Bolaise down the right flank. However, not everyone is a fan of the Irish full back…
Why is Koeman starting Seamus Coleman when Tony Hibbert’s still a free agent! 😤😤😤😤😤https://t.co/mopSGf5lGv#EFChttps://t.co/o1sK7bvZjo

Ronald Koeman’s side are unbeaten in the so far, and could make a push for European football this season.
Coleman is sure to be integral to any such push, and his international teammate James McCarthy will be aiming to force his way into his new manager’s plans.
