Na Glinntí Glasa Members To Climb Kilimanjaro this August in support of Child Aid
Na Glinntí Glasa member Barry Fegan and his brother aim to climb Mt Kilimanjaro to raise much need funds for the Irish charity Child Aid. Barry says "My brother has just returned from 10 weeks in Kenya doing volunteer work. The amount of poverty over there has been covered up with the war on Afghanistan and this serves to hide what has always been a poverty stricken land where kids suffer and die day and daily from starvation, lack of water, poverty and aids."
One house for a family including schooling for their kids costs as little as £1800. With the help of friends, family and colleagues we are hoping to raise £8000 and are confident we will do so.
