The FAI will play the home games on whatever night they can get the most TV money for regardless of whether it interferes with the LOI or not unfortunately.

Why are you sl*ging off the FAI while your signature is for a British club

Your beloved Utd would have to change a fixture if it clashed with an English fixture so why shouldnt LOI clubs do likewise without sl*gginf off the FAI.

In my opinion the FAI should arrange the fixtures to give us the best chance of winning, and if that is a Fri / Tues or Fri /Wed or Sat / Tue or Sat / Wed I dont care Il get behind the team and give them my support as usual.

The only thing I would hope is that the dates are clarified at the fixtures meeting and not subject to change later.

Eh that signature is to a tribute to the Munich Air Disaster in which an Irish International was killed and secondly why shouldn't I sl*g the FAI there a bunch of incompetent fookwits who'll put money ahead of what's best for the fans and the team.

Im sure you will find just as many fans would be happy to play on a Fri as a Sat, personally it would bother me too much

As for the team you may find they would prefer a Fri / Tues and get back to thier families and clubs a day earlier

What the fcuk are you on about. All I've simply stated is the FAI will choose whatever day the can get the most money for. The FAI have always been like that. I've never said the matches should be on a Friday.

You are saying the FAI are incometent for maximising tv revenue, do you not realise that they would be incompetent if they did not maximise revenue.

I don't think Wednesday is in the mix as an option, the whole reason for the change was so players would be back at their clubs a day earlier before the weekend club fixtures following international games. I could be wrong but, as far as I understand it, it's Friday or Saturday and then Tuesday.

Ye that's right. I posted a link in some thread yesterday confirming that
"If Jack Charlton was criticising me then I would be happy because he is a winner, but the others . . .'
